no bike/ new bike

Hey,
This weekend was really shitty. I mean my bike was stolen! When I was at the library! That was really crappy. but now I have the occasion to get me a new one. Not really a new one, but now the single speed fever has gotten me too. I already have the frame. An old Peugeot bike frame from my brother. But i am still looking for tires, the handlebar and almost everything else. Of course since my budget is not the biggest one, I have to look out, since I am prone to get into a modding frenzy. Below i have posted some really rad bikes. These pics were taken by the designer and fixie addict very masa and i love these slick rides. Perhaps with time mine will look something like this...


I like the colorscheme on this one, even if it looks too new.

Hey.
I like music. And I love visuals like video, animation and things like this. And I love when people make great vids for great music. These two here are a good example for this.
The first one is called She got me dancing by Tommy Sparks and is called "She got me dancing" I love the Disco Style and the many whacky ideas in this vid. My favorite are the three hippies!

The Other one is from animal collective. Here the focus is on the colours. And i love the idea of the dripping slimy monsters from the swamp at the end. I think this is the kind of trip you get when you enjoy a cocktail of hallucinogenic drugs and funky Disco Music!

where the wild things are

My first entry (well technically it's my second) is the Trailer about the book and now movie “where the wild things are” It is a very good book. I loved it when I was a child. The Story is quite minimalistic and the pictures, drawn by the author himself are simple but very beautiful I am really excited about the movie and I cannot wait till it comes out!

Ok I know i know. I am pretty new to this kind of stuff. For the people who know me it is a little surprise that i even write on the internet. My opinion regarding blogs so far, was not a overly enthusiastic one. “why some people has this urge to tell the whole world what they just experienced? An now? Look at this. This is my own blog!
Anyway. With this blog I try not so to tell about me, what I'm doing, how I'm feeling and so on. Rather I hope that it will be a blog about design, art and other subject, that I find noteworthy and interesting enough to post it here. I am aware that this is not the only blog who goes in this direction (credits to the wonderful blog of Bobby Solomon!) and I don't think that it will attract a huge crowd in the near future. But I sincerely hope that you will enjoy my blog and will come back. See you!
